The rules for the Dobsonyx text message program — what we send, how you join, how you leave, and what it costs. Plain English, like everything else here.

01 — PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

What this program is.

Dobsonyx operates a text message program for customers who have requested a quote, scheduled work, or completed a project with us. Messages relate to your project and may include scheduling information, service updates, and a request for feedback after completion.

02 — HOW YOU JOIN

Only if you asked for it.

You are enrolled only if you provided your mobile number and affirmatively agreed to receive texts. That happens in one of three ways:

  • You checked an opt-in box on a form at dobsonyx.com.
  • You signed an agreement containing a text messaging consent clause.
  • You texted us first.

Consent to receive text messages is never a condition of any purchase or of receiving any service from us. You can decline texts and still work with Dobsonyx exactly as you otherwise would.

03 — MESSAGE FREQUENCY

Message frequency varies.

Frequency varies based on your interaction with us. Most customers receive a small number of messages related to a single project. Feedback requests are sent one time only.

04 — COST

Message and data rates may apply.

Dobsonyx does not charge for these messages. Your mobile carrier's standard message and data rates apply.

05 — HOW TO OPT OUT

Reply STOP. That's the whole process.

Reply STOP to any message at any time. You will receive one confirmation message and no further messages after that. You may also opt out by calling (248) 231-8440 or emailing chadwick@dobsonyx.com.

06 — HOW TO GET HELP

Reply HELP, or reach a human.

07 — SUPPORTED CARRIERS

Delivery is not guaranteed.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to transmission by your wireless provider and is not guaranteed.

08 — PRIVACY

What happens to your number.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
