01 — WHO WE ARE

02 — WHAT WE COLLECT

Only what you give us, plus basic technical data.

• Forms. When you request a mini audit, book a strategy call, or contact us, we collect what you enter: name, business name, website, email, phone number, and anything you write in a message field.
• Booking details. If you schedule a call: your chosen time and timezone.
• Chat. Messages you type to the Onyx assistant on this site are processed to generate a reply and may be reviewed to improve the assistant.
• Technical data. Like nearly every website: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referring page, via standard server logs and the analytics/advertising tools described below.

03 — HOW WE USE IT

To respond to you and run the business. That's it.

We use your information to deliver what you asked for (audit results, booking confirmations and reminders, replies to inquiries), to operate and improve the site, and to measure whether our advertising works. We do not sell your personal information, and we never will.

04 — COOKIES, ANALYTICS & ADS

Measurement, not surveillance.

We may use Google tools (such as Google Ads conversion tracking and related cookies) to understand how visitors find us and whether our ads lead to inquiries. These tools set cookies governed by Google's privacy policy. You can limit ad personalization at adssettings.google.com or block cookies in your browser — the site works fine without them.

05 — WHO WE SHARE WITH

Service providers who help us operate — no one else.

• Email delivery (e.g., Resend) to send you confirmations and results.
• Text message delivery (e.g., Twilio) to send the text messages described in section 06 — for delivery only, and never for their own marketing.
• Payments (e.g., Stripe) if you pay us — card details go to the processor, never to our servers.
• Hosting and infrastructure providers that run this website.
• Google, for the measurement described above.

Each provider receives only what it needs to do its job. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

06 — TEXT MESSAGING & MOBILE INFORMATION

Text Messaging and Mobile Information

When you provide your mobile phone number to Dobsonyx, we collect that number along with a record of the consent you gave, including the date and time, the method of consent, and the exact disclosure language shown to you at that moment.

We use your mobile number to send text messages related to your project. These may include scheduling and appointment information, service updates, and a one-time request for feedback after your project is complete.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

We share your mobile number only with the communications service providers that deliver these messages on our behalf, and only for the purpose of delivering them. Those providers are contractually restricted from using the information for any other purpose.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase or of receiving any service from us.

You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message, by calling (248) 231-8440, or by emailing chadwick@dobsonyx.com. After you opt out we retain your number on a suppression list for the sole purpose of ensuring we do not contact you again.

07 — RETENTION & YOUR RIGHTS

Ask, and we'll show you or delete you.

We keep lead and client records as long as needed for the purposes above or as the law requires. You can email chadwick@dobsonyx.com at any time to ask what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, and we'll respond promptly. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the CCPA — we honor reasonable requests regardless of geography.

08 — CHILDREN & CHANGES

The fine print.

This site is for businesses and is not directed at children under 13; we don't knowingly collect their information. If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the effective date above — material changes get a notice on the site.
